Initial Tachograph Training Course

Our 4-day Initial Tachograph Technician Training programme qualifies participants to carry out tachograph installations, calibrations and inspections in accordance with Irish and EU regulations.

Delivered at our purpose-built training centre in Waterford, this course provides the technical knowledge and practical workshop experience required to operate as a certified tachograph technician. It is designed to ensure full regulatory compliance while equipping technicians with the confidence to work across analogue, digital and smart tachograph systems.

About The Course

The training course is recognised by the NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) and is developed in full compliance with Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1360/2002 and Regulation (EU) 165/2014.

Re-Certification Tachograph Training Course

Our one-day Tachograph Recertification course ensures certified technicians remain compliant with current Irish
and EU legislation while staying up to date with Smart 2 tachograph developments.

Recognised by the NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) and developed in full compliance with
Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1360/2002 and Regulation (EU) 165/2014, this course refreshes practical
calibration knowledge, regulatory awareness and inspection readiness to maintain workshop accreditation.

About The Course

Delivered at our state-of-the-art training facility in Waterford Airport Business Park or at your own premises, this focused programme is limited to ten participants to ensure personalised instruction and an interactive learning environment.

Practical Workshop-Based Learning

Participants perform tachograph calibrations in a real-life workshop setting and work directly with tachograph simulators and live equipment. Each attendee completes the course feeling confident in their knowledge of inspections, calibrations and retrofits upon completion.
